Klondike & Snow

While mindlessly watching YouTube videos, I somehow got on a  polar bear tangent and then remembered Klondike and Snow. If you were in Denver in 1994, chances are you remember the adorable polar bear cubs that were abandoned by their mother at the Denver Zoo. They were soo cute. I even bought a stuffed plush toy of Snow, and thinking it might still be at Mom's house somewhere.

Apparently they are still doing well 13 years later and living at the Orlando Sea World. Their mother Ulu died in 2000, and their father died last May (almost a year ago).

Here's a sweet video montage of them.

While I'm on the subject of species on the verge of extinction, remember that tomorrow's Earth Day.
