Mimi Kirk - 71 yr Old Vegetarian Beauty

A friend of mine sent me a link about this lady and it blew my mind. Mimi Kirk is a 71 year old, who was nominated as the sexiest vegetarian over 50. Twenty one years past the 50 year old mark and she looks incredible. Beauty is indeed only skin deep, so what is also so amazing about Mimi is that she is also very healthy. I find her very inspiring personally, because she says that she took up being vegetarianism when she was 30, which I also did myself at 30. Well, that's kind of true. I'm actually a pescatarian. In any case, I find it refreshing to see somebody in the media as a beauty role model who is advocating eating healthy and being vegetarian. She also supports local farmers' markets and eating raw whole foods.

I'm hoping we see more positive role models such as her in the media, as opposed to the get-thin-and-beautiful-on-a-crash-diet women who are marketing unrealistic and unhealthy images to women aspiring to be beautiful. Beauty starts by treating yourself well.
